NTC Promenade is San Diego's newest Arts & Cultural district, but we haven't forgotten the retail sector. We are working to bring innovative businesses, from clothing to restuarants, to Liberty Station as part of our mission. Chi Chocolat - Barracks 19

At Chi Chocolat, we bring you the most exquisite chocolates created with the finest ingredients. Many of our products are hand-rolled and molded using quality, authentic ingredients - a fundamental ethos and the 'no nasties' approach bans the use of additives such as hydrogenated vegetable fat and artificial colors in order to let the pure chocolate flavors and aromas through. An intense focus on both the culinary and visual artistry of chocolate make these treats both beautiful to behold and a delight to consume.

Jeweliany is the result of years of metalsmith study and fluid artistic creation. With consideration for renewable resources and eco friendly manufacturing practices, Jeweliany jewelry conveys an expression from the heart, mind, and soul of the creator to the wearer. Julie Simpson studied jewelry and design in San Diego, California. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Applied Design with an emphasis in Metalsmithing from San Diego State University. Through her study of metals and an apprenticeship with a fine jeweler, Julie has created a jewelry line that blends art, function, beauty, and grace.

Point Loma Tea offers exquisite whole leaf teas, unique blends and creative accessories from around the world.  Proprietor Cheryl Graf has had a life-long passion for tea and over the last dozen years has poured that passion into business ventures in both Scottsdale, AZ and San Diego.  Cheryl is certified by the Specialty Tea Institute. Whether you are a tea novice or an aficionado, you will have a unique experience each time you visit the store, and you will experience the joy, beauty, simplicity and complexity  - the artistry – of tea.

Solare Ristorante & Lounge -- Building 201
The setting, service, decor and ambiance in this historic Liberty Station location is like no other. The organic elements, like teak for the customized furnishings, natural wood floors & fabrics imported from Bali Solare creates an invitation to enjoy the positive energy and vibe. To be a “green” restaurant, Solare uses many organic produce, wild fish, and hormone free meat. Housed in the filming location for Top Gun, Solare helps to sustain the historical landmarks of NTC at Liberty Station.

Taylor Grace Designs - Barracks 15
The Hot Spot Pottery Painting, Candle Making & More is a creative studio where people of all ages can come create their own candle or pottery masterpiece.   Everything necessary is provided, including a knowledgeable, friendly staff, good music, items like stencils, stamps, idea books and to make this experience fun and easy for anyone!  Fund-raising opportunities are available to non-profit organizations such as schools, churches and community centers.  All products are non-toxic and washable.

Yellow Book Road - Barracks 15
The Yellow Book Road has been in business since September 1986. The store is one-of-a-kind in San Diego County, the largest bookstore specializing in children's books. They sell board books - young adult novels. They serve a large school community and help teachers in selecting books as well as teacher resource materials .
